March was another month of passive income auto-piloting for me. My work took me to Bangladesh and Myanmar, two very exciting countries with incredibly friendly people and interesting cultural heritage — it’s wonderful to not have to worry about one’s investment portfolio when traveling ✈

My total passive income in March: 317.50 EUR

Towards the second half of March, I decided to further diversify my portfolio and to invest in two real-estate loan platforms. Earlier this year I had already started investing with Grupeer, which combines P2P lending and real-estate loans. I decided to go for Estateguru and Crowdestate, both Estonian platforms that focus on real-estate loans. I invested 2000 EUR in each of the two platforms, which will allow me to compare performances.

When deciding on which platforms to invest in, I was trying to avoid (a) small platforms, as well as (a) brand new platforms. The website p2pmarketdata.com provides very useful overviews of funding volumes of different P2P and real-estate lending platforms. I can recommend taking a look.

Now, let’s look at March numbers:

PS: I forgot to mentioned in my February roundup that one of my distributing ETFs emitted dividends in February (= 280,85 EUR). I can not describe how wonderful it feels to receive dividend payments twice a year (in February and in August)!
